It occurred to me that both 3.1 Phillip Lim (as seen below) and Markus Lupfer have been digging the whole pop-art/comic book style and incorporated them in their pre-fall collections.

I’ve always been a fan of pop art, and mostly of Andy Warhol rather than Roy Lischtenstein. But Wahrol is so overrated right now. It’s Roy’s time to shine.¬†Sometimes, I wish I lived during these times, don’t you?¬†Even my room at my parent’s in Geneva is very 70′s pop-art with super bright colors.

At Phillip Lim, models are wearing the Ka-Pow¬†cardigan¬†and sweater with simple and clean cut lines.¬†I quite like how the model is styled in the second look. The leather skirt brings some kind of sexiness to the outfit. I’m really obsessed with this look. Now the question is…. could I pull it off?

If you’re not quite sold on the clothes, I’ve got an even better option for you : The PVC clutch. It would be the perfect summer/beach clutch… Actually no. It would be more useful than that because¬†I bet I’ll be seeing everyone with these clutches during next Fashion Week. I got a feeling that they are the new Christopher Kane¬†jelly clutch. My fashion instinct is always spot on, trust me…
