During my trip to New York, I really wanted to visit the Tibi showroom. As I mentioned in my Instragram photos, I always go to the Tibi store whenever I’m in town, and for the past 3 years it has been the case. Amy Smilovic, the designer, does a fantastic job at creating feminine silhouettes yet on-trend for the woman on-the go who likes to be fashionable and sophisticated. To tell you the truth, what I love about Tibi is that you can always find wardrobe staples that are a little special.

Liz, the lovely PR director, wearing her adorable Paloma skirt paired with a white knit, welcomed my sister and I to their showroom in SoHo. I was dying to check out the Spring/Summer 2013 collection in the flesh, and obviously I wasn’t disappointed for a bit.

To begin with, the offices are breathtaking. No seriously. My jaw dropped to the floor as I entered what can be compared to “the doors of heaven”. Imagine a huge open space, white, fresh and airy on the 10th floor of a SoHo building. It would be any woman’s dream (mine included) to be working in such a beautiful space surrounded by such beautiful clothes…

My first impression ? Fun and flirty. The Spring/Summer 2013 collection is simply divine. In a nutshell, what every woman could wish for ; a lovely combination between floral prints and more plain/muted colors garments – all very polished and tailored à la Tibi. Amy concocted a fantastic cocktail of exotic prints in bold colors and if on the contrary you’re more of a pastel aficionado, you’re in for a sweet ride!

At this very right moment, only one thought crossed my mind as my hands were touching all these silky garments: Dear summer, can you be there already?

My favorite dress from Tibi’s S/S13 collection…

Oh and this one too…

And the shoes….

This denim jacket is already on my Spring/Summer 2013 wish list, I’m in love…

Thanks again to the lovely Tibi team for having me. See you soon xoxo
