For as long as I can remember, my mother used to apply this balm on her lips and on dry areas. I use to dislike the smell, that why I never purchased it growing up… But last week, I get on IntoTheGloss that this iconic “Eight Hour Cream” by Elizabeth Arden was newly launched in fragrance-free. YAY ME! It’s really a matter of taste… For me, the original scent is too strong.
So last weekend I purchased it and I’ve been using every night since, to the extent that yesterday I already bought a second one that I’ll keep in Geneva while the other one will be useful for my travels.
There’s a never ending list of all the ways you can use it, but I personally like to keep it on my bedside table and apply it on my cuticles/nails, on my lips, on my cheeks after a sunburn, knees and elbows, under the eyes or even on my eyebrows if they are unruly in the morning. Trust me, it will definitely be worth the money. Contrary to Vaseline, the eight hour cream has healing and soothing properties. The story is that Elizabeth’s son scratched his knee and bruised and she applied it, 8 hours later, it vanished!
I’m sure you can read tons of reviews and stories online, but I just wanted to give you my personal input. Let me know if you like it as much as I do.
