Inevitably, wonderful trips rhymes with fabulous discoveries. During my stay in Mykonos last week, I discovered the brand APRIATI. In Ancient Greek, “Apriati” means strong desire for having beautiful possessions and I couldn’t think of a better word to illustrate the brand.

The brand was founded by two young Greek designers Athina Axioti and Themis Bobolas in 1996, their union and desire to incorporate artisanal crafts were inspired from the Greek Mythology and has been a tremendous success since.

Athina was absolutely lovely, and she walked me around the shop in Mykonos and explained to me all the craftsmanship behind Apriati. Bracelets and necklaces are made of silk cords, 18-karat gold along with diamonds and precious stones. They all cary a very rock and bohemian vibe, which makes them very special. It’s the kind of jewelry that you never take off, and lives with you. I got a angel bracelet and an evil eye necklace that I haven’t taken off since (and that’s very unusual for me). I love them.

With boutiques around the world, from Athens, Mykonos to Paris and Zurich, Apriati is a brand that any jewelry lover should keep on their radar. You’ll definitely fall under their spell.

Visit their website :  and stay tuned for the launch of their e-shop very soon!
